An error occurred while updating the configuration airport extreme

I get the message 'The settings for this Airport Extreme have been successfully updated..blah...', and the restart proceeds.

Eventually, back to the error message copied above, ie.

You should now have a stable wireless connection under Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2.

For most users the wifi stability issue was resolved with installing the latest OS X Lion updates, but in some cases is seems that old network connection profiles brought the problem forward for to the newest OS update.

You may need to select your network from the Airport menu and try again".

My tip would be to have 2 networks, one with the Billion for your Voi P, and another for your general use.

The Default Settings doesn't seem to be an issue as I'm about to change settings.

So I tick to ignore these, and 'status' then shows normal with a green light. I select the the Wireless tab, and for Wireless Mode I select 'Extend a wireless network'.

I have however got a different error with the dome - "Airport Utility was unable to find your Apple wireless device after restarting.

The settings for this Apple wireless device have been successfully updated, but there was a problem re-joining the wireless network or finding the Apple wireless device.
